Not only is Blackbraid playing the upcoming Fire In The Mountains festival, but we’ve teamed up with the band’s musical mastermind Sgah’gahsowáh for a special live Q&A that will take place during the listening session with Metal Injection’s Frank Godla.
Fire in the Mountains will take place in Montana from July 25-27, 2025 at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve. Blackbraid joins an esteemed lineup of artists including Wardruna, Old Man’s Child, Chelsea Wolfe, Converge, Blood Incantation, and more!
Blackbraid previously commented on the appearance, “I am very pleased to announce that I have partnered with Fire in the Mountains to curate an exclusive pre-release event for my forthcoming full length Blackbraid III. Festival goers will have the opportunity to hear the album in its entirety ahead of its release.

Blackbraid III features drums, recording, mixing, and mastering by Neil Schneider; as well as a guitar solo on “God Of Black Blood” by Randy Moore.
