This 2001 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner SR5 XtraCab remained in the care of its original owner in California until it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Power comes from a 3.4-liter 5VZ-FE V6 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a locking rear differential, and the truck is finished in Super White over Charcoal cloth. Additional equipment includes the TRD Off-Road Package, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a tonneau cover, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, air conditioning, cruise control, a CD/cassette stereo, and power windows and locks. Now with 48k miles, this rear-wheel drive Tacoma TRD is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a dash mat, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The extended-cab body is finished in Super White and features a body-color hardshell tonneau cover with dual support struts in addition to a drop-in bedliner, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, nerf bars, and chrome front and rear bumpers. The selling dealer notes sun damage to the top of the side mirrors, and photos of paint meter readings are viewable in the gallery below.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 265/70 Yokahama YK-HTX tires showing 2019 date codes. The truck rides on Bilstein shock absorbers, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features Charcoal cloth upholstery on the seats along with a color-coordinated dash, center console, door panel inserts, and carpets. Amenities include a CD/cassette stereo, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. A carpeted dash mat is included in the sale.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames white-dial instruments including a 110-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles, approximately 30 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 3.4-liter 5VZ-FE V6 was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in September 2023 included changing the fluids and replacing the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and drive belts. The truck last passed a California emissions test in May 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a locking rear differential, the latter of which received a fluid change in September 2023.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
