This 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible was purchased by the seller from the family of its original owner in 2024. Powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the car is finished in Flamenco Red over Barley leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a power-retractable beige soft top, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, power-adjustable front sport seats, a Pioneer head unit, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Work performed since 2023 is said to have included reuphostering the seat bottoms, rebuilding the cylinder head, and replacing the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, water pump, battery, EGR valve, oxygen sensor, and radiator. This XJS convertible is offered with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Flamenco Red (CFH) and features a power-retractable beige soft top that was replaced in June 2023. Exterior details include a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. The hood has been refinished, although there are blemishes in the clear coat as well as a paint chip on the hood cowl and scratches on the trunk lid. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Rovelo tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The ABS accumulator was replaced in 2023.
The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Barley leather. Interior amenities include power windows, automatic climate control, and a Pioneer head unit. Upholstery for the seat bottoms and center armrest were replaced in 2024.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The parking brake warning light intermittently illuminates, and a potential odometer rollback is noted in a June 2017 entry on the Carfax report.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, water pump, and battery were replaced in 2023, and the EGR valve, oxygen sensor, radiator, and radiator hoses were replaced in 2024, per the seller, who states that the cylinder head was rebuilt in 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned potential odometer rollback.
